Money spent on military equipment provides jobs for millions of blue collar americans, stop that spending a millions of americans join the unemployment roles, you may not like it, but that is a fact.

Tax credits are not subsidies. Oil companies are allowed to write off exploration expenses-------------because in the past the govt actually believed that finding new US oil was a good thing and wanted to incentivize exploration.

Tobacco companies do not get subsidies
