Lawyers, judges, and anyone else who believes a manufacturer of a product should be held liable for damages caused by the product operating/performing as designed, needs to go back to law school.

There are no firearm manufacturing or design defects if the operator intends to shoot another, and the firearm performs as the operator intends. It would be an intentional tort by the operator that is the proximate cause of the damages.
