So because Bernie is the only campaign in this race with actual grassroots support, are the rest...

... Lacking authenticity?

Yes.

Bernie's campaign has had unprecedented grassroots support. It's reached 2 million individual contributions faster than any US presidential candidate in history. Both Hillary and Bernie have raised more in donations than any other candidate with Bernie having raised a few million short of Hillary. However, he has accepted no Super PAC support to achieve this.

This is what makes Sander's a real threat to republicans.

Let's also not forget that Bernie is beating any republican in a hypothetical match up.

Over 100 million people voted in the last general election.
Why is Bernie getting 2 million individual contributions such a threat to the GOP....
Lol because no other candidate has reached 2 million individual contributions faster than he has? How is this complicated for you?

2 million people want more free stuff. There may be a lot more as well. Pretty scary for the working stiffs that will have to pay for it.
And once again you cons have no earthly idea what his policy ideas are. You just rely on liberal stereotypes as mental shortcuts because you are too dumb to think critically and learn and weigh the pros and cons of his actual proposals.

Only a real dumbass doesn't know that Bernie Sanders is promising free stuff. It doesn't take critical thinking to know that a free college education and free health care is free stuff. Are you going to deny that is what he is proposing?

It is slowly looking like Sanders will be the next president. He does have support across party lines, a lot of support with independents, and he HAS risen as a result of a grassroots movement. He was polling like O'Malley six months ago, now he may win some of the primaries. And he has no ugly baggage.

When you step back and weigh things without regard to party you start getting that sense, small but building very slowly, that this guy is going to win the candidacy and the presidency.

The Republicans have been throwing mud at Hillary for 4 straight years thinking she would be the nominee. Sanders is the one that will benefit from it. trump can't win a general. He has no black, Hispanic, or women's vote, he's done if he's the Gopp candidate.

Sanders has support across party lines....he does?

Democrats, independents, women, Hispanics, and the black vote if he is the candidate.

Neocons don't matter without independents. Every con alive could vote against him, if independents and women vote for him game over pal.

His healthcare plan would be paid for with taxes, ass. In addition to his progressive tax plan, everyone will have to pay a 2.2% tax increase that will replace the high premium anyone is currently paying for health insurance through the private system, thus saving them money.

His tuition plan would be paid for through a tax on Wall Street speculation.

Are you kidding me? This is so dumb it's not even funny. He is trying to over turn Citizens United. He has said nothing about accepting small time donors which has always been the traditional way of campaign finance. All of the money he has raised has been through small individual donations.

In other words, it's okay for tens of millions to buy elections, as long as it's a Democrat buying the election.

I couldn't stand to save any more on my health insurance since I got the extra $2500 the occupant of the White House promised me. LOL

If that takes billions from Wall Street, they will probably move to an exchange in another country to do their speculating.

Um no. Any grassroots support is acceptable.

There's a lot of hard working folks who are in Bernie's corner. Why that makes some on the right upset I will never know.

Hummmmmmmmmm

WHY would the grassroots support an avowed socialist?

This is just something you're making up. No one is singling out repubs. Bernie has criticized Hillary on several occasions for accepting Super PAC funding.

You tell me. Bernie's policies speak for themselves. It hardly matters he calls himself a socialist if his policies are appealing to both conservatives and liberals. His polling numbers prove this.

Strawman alert! I heard there are some very good stock exchanges in England and other European countries.

Too bad they are all lemmings...
Lol

No one is singling out repubs.

Except Sanders supporters. :D

Face it, Bernie's campaign is a self contradiction. Nearly $100 million in campaign funding for the promise of getting the money out of politics is the second biggest dupe of this election cycle (the biggest being the people who believe Trump is a Republican).

The only way to compete in the current system is to raise a ton of money, so anyone that wants to get elected has to raise money to get elected.

But the argument is they shouldn't be raising a lot of money to get elected because they want to change the system so people don't have to raise a lot of money to get elected, thereby getting rid of most of the buying of elections?

This is an argument the laziest person in the room thinks of. It has no merit, yet it 'sounds' coherent. It is a Sarah Palin type observation in the tradition of "I know foreign policy better than anyone because I can see Russia from my house".

It is the type of thing someone in middle school would think clever.
