No. Denver just ran the zone read for him most of the time. He takes the snap, and if the ILB is not home, he runs between the guard and tackle - almost universally over the left side. If the ILB stays home, he runs parallel to the oline to the left. If the safety does not come up to defend the run, he pitched the ball to the tailback. If the safety came up to fill the gap between the OLB and the cornerback, he GOD HELP US ALL, threw .... generally to the tightend.

There were riffs on that, with the TE on either side, and not every play was an option read. But inevitably, the offense had to be predominatly run oriented, and the Tebow had to carry the ball 10plus times per game. The one year Den really tried, they got to the playoffs with Tebow playing maybe 10 games, and his ribs were banged up. Ironically, he got injured trying to drop back and pass the ball conventionally.

Nice kid. Maybe he was big enough to play in the Canadian league. But he could not learn to throw NFL timing routes and understand what route a receiver ran against a particular coverage.
