Well, Apple is taxed at just under 4% and Big-oil at around 41.7%, the price of oil is still around $103 a barrel........what's causing the drop.

Presidents personally have little to no control over the price of gas while in office. They may help pass laws that could affect gas pricing in the long run, but these kinds of things need to be run through the House and the Senate first, making those people equally as responsible for whatever may result from the passage of the law.
