"What A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong was released in 1967 and surprisingly didn't crack the Billboard Hot 100 (apparently the head of ABC Records hated the song and wouldn't promote it) but was #1 in the U.K. The movie "Good Morning Vietnam" helped it finally make the Top 40 in the U.S. in the 1988.

 
Peaked at #92 on Billboard's Hot 100. Not initially released as a single in 1970 from it's namesake album, but was in 1977? It's one he reportedly plays the most in his concerts, and why not? Classic...

Didn't have a Top 40 song until "Touch of Grey" (peaked at #9), but prior to that song, this was their best-charting song peaking at 64...
