Since the Iraq War our defense budget has increased by 40% , from $500 billion a year to $700 billion a year, and that's not including other government national security agencies like, DHS, CIA, NSA, and so our real "defense" budget is through the roof...Congress and the Pentagon admit they can't keep track of it.
