The WORST National Anthem That I've Ever Heard

A writer named Francis Key tried to negotiate with the British for the release of Americans captured during the war of 1812. Key was captured himself and held on a British ship during the shelling of Ft. McHenry in Baltimore harbor. He watched during the "twilight's last gleaming" through the night that the Flag was still standing during the "dawn's early light". It was a profound observation that later became the National Anthem.
