It's a shame that instead of instilling hate, these children aren't taught to accept others who are different from them -- whether in religion, race, or ethnicity.

OPPOSITION imagery aimed at "radicalising" children has been compared to the indoctrination tactics used by religious extremists in Iraq and Syria.

According to independent rights activist Salman Nasser, poster and banners that "propagate violence" and glorify young people, who take part in riots in Bahrain should be subject to an outright ban.

In an interview with the GDN, he compared such imagery to the recruitment techniques used by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) supporters - who recently circulated a video online showing a child recreating the execution of US journalist James Foley by beheading a doll.

"Do not think that the images that we see on our streets and in our villages are less dangerous than these," said Mr Nasser.
