Suspicions Rise As New Footage Shows Secret Service Helping Adjust Trump Shooter's Scope

U.S. — Newly released footage from the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania has stirred suspicions across the country, as it shows what appears to be Secret Service agents helping the Trump shooter adjust his scope before the shooting.
The now-viral five-minute-long video shows a Secret Service agent carefully explaining the nuances of adjusting a high-powered scope to the Trump shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks. The video has sparked demands for further investigation.
"You see, it seems that everything might not quite be aboveboard," commented Matthew Reynolds, a political commentator. "After all, we know that the Secret Service enjoys being helpful and all…but aiding an attempted assassin in calibrating his sights twenty minutes before he shoots a presidential candidate makes them almost seem like they wanted the shooting to happen. Weird."
Ronald Rowe, acting Director of the Secret Service, has soothed public angst by issuing an official statement cautioning citizens not to draw any hasty conclusions from the video.
"While the footage of Secret Service agents helping an attempted assassin prepare for his shot may seem to implicate the Secret Service in the attempted assassination, it is important for all of us to be patient and wait to see what the exact timeline of events will be revealed to be after further investigation," Rowe went on to say. "We hope to have finished the investigation sometime in the next two years."
At publishing time, Americans had become even more suspicious about the shooting after a new video showing Secret Service agents giving the Trump shooter ammunition and a stepladder had surfaced.
