Lebanon is both and they have suffered for the better part of the last 66 yrs with (unvetted) refugees and lost hundreds of thousands of people to violence even with the deportation to other countries of refugee fighters, and had their country shattered.

Lesson for the world to learn and work to not repeat.

Opening hearts and country should also be responsible and measured and expect them to eventually leave and go home.

Any politician who actively promotes bringing refugees here should be forced to take refugees in their own neighborhoods. I'm sure obama's future neighbors would love him for that. The clintons would probably be hung in effigy in chappaqua as well.
