Fuel taxes to fund the federal costs of infrastructure building. Keep it small and apply it against all internal uses to increase exports in order to get the attention of Iran and Mexico. This will also get the attention of sanctuary cities and states facing sequester since their projects will not be built without the states and cities kicking in some fixed percentage of the cost.
The fine/tax on hiring illegals should be applied rigorously to all except family members of family firms. Let's not bite off our nose to spite our face. If an illegal is creating, not taking, jobs for American citizens, even indirectly, that is a good thing.
BAT (border adjustment tax) should start off small to see how well it works and not raised until American firms are opened or reopened to supply the needed parts and 2-5 years are probably needed to get those factories up and running. Any other useful taxes needed to increase employment?
