No...because the settlers honestly believe they are entitled and as long as the government allows it and clearly no one feels shame. They shouldn't be made the targets of hostility which is exactly what would happen.
Ignorance of international law is no excuse to break them.
Believing that God gave you the right to possess stolen property, is not an excuse either.
They need to be punished for their crimes.
Most people haven't a clue what "International law" is - they obey their local and national laws and are responsible for knowing them. International law applies to governments more than individual citizens. If their government says they have a right to squat in occupied territories that is legitimate in their view. It's the governments responsibility to insure compliance with international law and if governments flout it - it's them who must be held responsible. That's how I see it.
It's not an "excuse" - it's the way law works.
Israelis are technologically astute they have computers and are probably online reading these very posts...Even Lipush always says: How can a Jew be a thief in re-claiming lands in Judea and Samaria? Thieves know what they are doing.
