It can certainly be a good sign, if most of the new COVID infections are young people in the prime of health. In the ideal situation, the people can achieve some degree of immunity and not get afflicted as octogenarians, when the ailment can be quite lethal

Went to lunch at the local barbeque house a couple of hours ago, and people were very courteous, minding the social spacing, and the restaurant had "closed table" signs on every other table to keep family groups and couples 6' apart. Nobody had to be told to stay 6 feet away to wait in line for ordering, and the wait wasn't too long.

The fact is no one expected the virus to die out and many people in Texas expected people to get ill or be asymptomatic while testing positive of the virus.
