The president’s abuse of power is not in dispute. It is clear that he used the powers of his office in an attempt to extract a corrupt favor for his personal benefit, and this is precisely the sort of offense that impeachment was designed to keep in check. It doesn’t matter if the attempt succeeded. All that matters is that the attempt was made. It is also undeniable that he has sought to impede the investigation into his misconduct. The president has committed the offenses he is accused of committing, and the House should approve both articles of impeachment.

I dunno if I’d exactly call the Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, McCain, and Graham wing of the Republican Party, “conservative.” Anyway, if it’s beyond doubt then I presume he’ll be convicted soon?

OP was giddy when he saw the word Conservative and the support for impeachment lol.

That article is meaningless. The support for impeachment is already on the decline. Trumps numbers are on the rise.

Coup attempt failed you just don't know it yet.

Senator McConnell has put the Trial Phase on calendar for January. The Warmth and Glow and Tolerance-levels of the year-end seasons will have given way to the usual post-holiday remorse and depression phases themselves. Getting revenge for it all will make some sense.

Then the NAFTA Treaty replacement vote will be scheduled--widely approved by the House Democrats. Then there are the Democratic Party primaries. Mood Swings will be underway. The glow from the Mueller Investigation prosecutions will easily emerge in lots of advertising: Even counted blessings of the season.

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred!"
(It will be a good time to count many coups. . .and taking prized scalp. . .and right there on TV(?), of a kinder, gentler, era(?)!)

It's an opinion piece the man is welcome to his opinion but it's no more relevant than that of those who post here.

And they'll be quickly primaried right out of office if they do vote in favor of this donkey show.

Tell me what a conservative manifesto is, or else I don't care.

They're probably horrified that conservatism is completely dead and has been replaced with a revival of a pre-60's Democrat party.
