It ain't the first time democrats pulled this crap. Democrats (with their minions in the media) were able to keep Woodrow Wilson's crippling stroke a secret while his wife ran the government. With the continuing cooperation of their minions in the media, democrats were able to promote a virtual corpse, FDR, as healthy enough to run for his 4th term. They were so sure that he wouldn't live through the term that they hand picked his successor. FDR was inaugurated in January and dead by April.
