That's NOT what happened. Unhinged people very similar to half the board here have been motivated to "take a shot" ( literally) at Trump.
They literally ALLOWED it. And even encouraged it.
This has been developing for several years now.
Trump's rhetoric has been violent for years. Remember his speech to the Boy Scouts?
