Say, 20 bucks from Boston to DC on a high speed Amtrak, as a baseline subsidy. Subways free, maybe 50 cents, busses free. That would get a lot of people out of their cars because humans are basically cheap. Must be nice though. Clean, fun, spacious, lots of bar-snack cars.

Instead of giving up all our rights and letting fascist bureaucrats shove us into 15 minute cities, this would work to get cars off the road. Who pays for it? What we have spent on Ukrainian oligarchs mansions already would have paid this up for the next 10 years.

Oh right. This is not about the environment. It's about controlling us. They WANT to dicate where you can go, how far, how often.

There was a time that I can remember when the subways, elevated trains, trolleys and buses cost only a nickel and a transfer was free.

Massive increases in wages and benefits and pensions took care of those lower prices. It was cemented when transportation systems went from private to public concerns.

LOL....Just wait till the connector bus stops start showing-up in the blue-burbs disgorging the urban goblins into their neighborhoods.

Did you want to take a crack at explaining why when Covid restrictions were put in place all over the world and everyone was staying home we didn't see a huge cooling of the atmosphere?

What about those who don’t live in large urban areas.

Plus I understand the Subways in New York City are often dangerous.

To stop Earth's climate from changing, you would need to stop tectonic plate movement. Best of luck...

As for Co2, it does nothing, and that is what the DATA always documented...
