The future starts now

To think that intermittent power sources can power the entire country is a pipe dream.

If we stop using fossil fuels for transportation, heating and the many industrial processes that require high heat applications our demand for electricity will be far too high for wind and solar to even come close to covering.
 
My brother's house is a net energy producer, but he lives in Arizona and the upfront costs are prohibitive for most people, especially now that we're Venezuela and going to be North Korea soon.
