Harris had the worst approval rating of any VP in US history (and we've had some really terrible VPs) right up until Biden shit himself live on TV. Even immediately after the debate the discussion was who would take over the campaign and Harris wasn't a serious contender amongst pundits. Once it became clear she would be nominated her support skyrocketed. But it's not a cult..... I promise.....
