"A wrongful death claim has been filed against the city of Seattle by the mother of Lorenzo Anderson, 19, who was killed in the former Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone (CHOP). This according to Komo News.

Donnitta Sinclair, Anderson’s Mother, alleges that city officials created a dangerous environment and failed to provide medical help to her son as he lay dying. A claim is typically the first step toward a lawsuit. Under state law, a claim must be filed 60 days before filing a lawsuit.

Anderson was one of two teens shot in Seattle's former Capitol Hill Occupied Protest zone around 2:30 a.m. on June 20. Self-appointed medics took Anderson by private vehicle to Harborview Medical Center, where he later died.

Seattle Fire Department and Medics could not enter the area because standard operating procedure calls for Seattle Police to secure an area first before medical first responders can access the scene. This was not possible due to the occupation."

Seattle's about to take it in the ass. Serves them right.

I don't know why you're so bitter about the violence that happened in the CHAZ.

Sometimes you gotta carelessly throw away a few black lives to show that black lives matter. Your criticism of this dynamic proves your bigotry.

There is already another lawsuit by a group of businesses that greatly suffered in the zone area.

The mayor should be held criminally liable for abandoning the city.
In addition to declaring it a sanctuary city. Since deaths have occured, under US Code 8, Section 1324, mayor Jenny Durkan could be eligible for the death penalty.

All these suits and criminal charges are going to pile up on Seattle, ruin the city even further, and the people there are going to eventually realize what idiots they are for having elected goofballs like Durkan and Inslee.

They may wind up with no police, no fire department, no social services, and nothing, because they'll be bankrupt, and wont have any money to pay them. Then they'll go crawling to Trump, begging for financial bailout, and Trump will give them the same answer President Ford gave New York mayor Abe Beame in 1975, at the White House.
You made your bed. Go sleep in it.

Seattle CHOP zone prompts lawsuit from businesses, residents: reports
By Dom Calicchio
June 25, 2020

Excerpt:

Numerous Seattle businesses – including an auto repair shop, a tattoo parlor and a property management company – sued the city Wednesday, alleging city officials were complicit in allowing an “occupied protest” that has made them feel unsafe in their neighborhood, according to reports.

Workers and residents also joined the lawsuit over CHOP, the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest, which drew scorn from President Trump and other critics who accused Mayor Jenny Durkan, the city’s police chief and other city leaders of turning the area over to “anarchists.”

I think a bunch of these major cities are going to become clones of Detroit.

Sounds good but the city will just tax residents to pay for the settlement

what should happen is that city officials should have to pay out of their own pockets

Hope every person and business that was hurt by the majors stupidity sues the shit out of Seattle.

well you can sue some one for looking at you wrong. not likely you win though. I find it hard to believe a jury is going to award damages in this cse as the scene was unreachable.

The scene was unreachable because the city allowed a bunch of riotous shitlords to seize control of a 6 block radius and did nothing to stop them. That makes them culpable, brainlet.

Yes, but the scene was unreachable because the city of Seattle allowed those savages in CHAZ/CHOP to get away with making it unreachable.

why was it unreachable. you still don't get it. too fking funny, the mayor aborted her responsibility as an elected official who took an oath to protect the innocent. the fact you don't understand that still amazes me. she should get the death penalty, it was with intent.

that would be a civil suit we're waiting on.
