I've noticed how pissed off the commentators on CNN are about the fact that they can't get Trump supporters to quit after he supposedly signaled some change in his deportation of illegals. I would think that after months of criticizing the wall that they would be ecstatic about this but they seemed more pissed off that they can't split Trump supporters away. I suspect we will see a lot more of this in the next few months.

never trust people who act in any sort of way like their mouth is the lens by which everyone is expected to perceive the world. in fact, it's your civic duty to make sure people like that suffer as much humiliation and embarrassment as possible.

It's the same every election. They have to sound really fascist and authoritarian to win the nomination and then they have to walk back all that shit they said to the teabagger assholes to get their vote.

There isn't anything more conservative than national SOCIALISM.

I felt the same about Obama.

Trying to set the clock back to some mythical time when things were supposedly awesome is not that conservative as I understand the word. There are not many neat labels to put on radical rightism because it's not really a political philosophy as much as a conditioned response to fear-mongering and scapegoating.

Why do you use words if you are just going to change the meaning to whatever you need to suit your political agenda?

Nobody in their right mind would go from supporting The Donald to supporting Crooked Hillary.

I'm just saying that is going to be the strategy. Someone out there already thought it out and are now trying to deploy it. How come CNN seems to be employing this strategy? What is the connection?

CNN isn't the who flip flopped on immigration. That was Trump. Pay attention.

you do realize that judge judy is a game show, right? you're smart enough to figure that out, but you're still hopelessly dependent upon the news media...

"The left is trying to split the Trump supporters"

lol

No, this is a lie – ‘the left’ is doing no such thing.

The GOP and Trump supporters are accomplishing that without any help.

Trump is the perfect candidate.
Whatever your opinion is on something he has agreed with you at some time.
Why isn't he getting 100% support?

Trump is already losing Trump supporters.

Trump supporters are a minority of extremists. "The left" doesn't have to do anything, the Republican party is more split.

You don't know the meaning of "conservative," so don't waste your time explaining it. No one is listening.
