You know, instead of the things people actually talked about, like jobs and how corrupt Hillary was perceived to be.

Most of the people I've talked to who voted for Trump voted for him because they hated Hillary and he otherwise pandered to their racial bigotries. Trannies in the bathroom wasn't even on the radar.
