As is known, according to the Abrahamic religions (Christianity, Islam, Judaism), believers and truth-tellers usually go to Heaven after death, and atheists and sinners usually go to Hell or even go into Non-existence after death.
If in the distant future (say, in a few thousand years) scientists discover a way to resurrect people, all of them - sinners and righteous people, believers and atheists - in a separate Universe (let's call it the "Afterlife"), where resurrected souls will live forever, then this won't the institution of the Church become unnecessary?
