After the near fatal assassination attempt on a former US president was downplayed by media in a "nothing to see here move along" fashion it became clear to many that we are now living in an age of enhanced propaganda and gaslighting. It's not new but it is greatly magnified by technology making it possible to speed up the process of fomenting great changes in society. Oddly, the public mind hasn't changed much since JFK was taken out. People are more than willing to accept the government-issue explanation that a lone gunman acting on his own was the culprit. Of course dead men tell no tales and this works well to keep the story credible. All the evidence suggesting something different is quickly dumped into the files of conspiracy theory. They used to just hold commisions to justify official explanations but the public trust has weakened which is why that former president was elected the first time.

This leaves a modern observer with two choices. One can just believe the status quo that has every reason to want the target gone or one can question the status quo which could get you a visit from the FBI or have you placed on a no-fly list. You could also be cancelled by all opinion media as a trouble maker and a possible foreign spy. Mike Lindell cannot sell his pillows at Walmart. Does this Orwellian blockade give you pause? It should.

If you are getting old like this writer you notice these things. A lot of people normalize what is happening and they might not like where it leads.

Quoted for irony.

Have you ever considered cannabis gummies? They can help calm ones mind from racing and perhaps alleviate some other symptoms as well.

To whom are you speaking, to me or the poster just before me?

They're not going to like where it leads, but they're all too damn stupid and will believe the lies they will be fed when it all goes to shit, just like they do now. A new scapegoat will be created (Hitler/Jews), and these imbeciles will eat it all up. I believe the populace is more soft and stupid today than at any other time in history. The price will be paid for that, sadly by generations that had no responsibility for creating it.

Other things that just don't seem even remarkable to so many people - an obviously and embarrassingly compromised old man as the President, replacing him as a candidate when the polling was grim, flipping opinions about Kamala on a dime based solely on the media spin, a presidential candidate not taking questions. It's truly bizarre.

The more they push the envelope and pay zero consequences, the more they're going to do it. One does have to wonder if that proverbial line even exists anymore. It was over the minute the 'media' was bought out, we no longer have a 'media', just a propaganda machine. Liberty will die without it, that's what we're living through right now.

When you are older you remember things. One of those things is the difference beitween suicide and being suicided. The former president's political opponent in 2016 Hillary Clinton, was invlolved in strange incident where a political insider got an attack of guilt over the corruption of her and her husband Bill Clinton and their rise to power. He was about to expose them to save his soul apparently. Then out of the blue he committed suicide with all kinds of weird twists that made no sense. Dead men tell no tales as they say.

What did Trump save us from in 2016? He may get a chance to save us again in 2024.

Good Lord.

Ray, your response explains a lot of things, more than you know.

Says the little leftie parrot that has nothing of value to offer in any discussion. All you have is ridicule because you're otherwise too damn stupid to understand what's being discussed. 🤡
