The Poor People in the US don't know how well they have it....It's laughable to many from other countries

I have a cousin who is no stranger to traveling abroad and after getting home from one trip the first thing that she did after getting off the plane was bawl her eyes out because of what she had just come from witnessing or should I say from all that she learned was not over there where she had been?

God bless you and her and her husband who she met in Nicaragua always!!!

Holly

P.S. Besides Nicaragua, I know that she has also been to Guatemala and Guadalajara, Mexico.

America has the richest poor people in the world.

Proving once and for all that Johnson's War on Poverty has been a huge success!
We had the richest poor people in the world before that idiot.
Comparing conditions in the U.S. with those of other countries is ridiculous. We all live HERE, not THERE. This is an effort to squirm out of a rational discussion of conditions in the U.S. It reminds me of the imbeciles who tell women fighting for equal rights and an end to misogyny HERE that they should be happy that they don't live in Saudi Arabia. What's wrong here is still wrong, even if some people in other countries have it worse.
Actually, a woman like you would be happier in Saudi. You obviously can't deal with the freedom American women have, and it's just as obviously making you miserable.
WTF??? This from a guy who would willingly give up his American freedoms to live under a fascist dictatorship. Stop trying to compare conditions here with those in other countries. I issue is not whether American women have more freedom than those in other countries. The issue is whether American women have equal freedom with American men under the law. This has absolutely nothing to do with outsiders.

Fascist dictatorship?! I mean the Czech Republic abandoned socialism 30 years ago. WTF do you think I live, Berkeley?

You really would be better off in a fascist dictatorship or in a place like Saudi. You wouldn't have to think there, and you're not much good at it.
