Uh-Huh, along with all the other examples in this thread of people singling out Fox News to denigrate..... works both ways but that's what you get when you have large swaths of the media that are nothing more than infotainment outlets.

It's true that most news must be scrutinized and corroborated by other sources before I accept something as truth but that doesn't mean that most aren't credible but usually presenting it from their perspective. Over time I see most mainstream media as credible, meaning what they report turns out to be true, while Fox a lot of times is not.
It's OK to mistrust the media but not to the point of dismissing everything.

Personally I find that it's pretty much all the same no matter where you get your news (with some exceptions), it's some kernels of truth mixed in with a lot of garbage, you just have to pay close attention so that you can tell the difference between the two, in other words learn to speak Modern "Mediaese" and you'll be fine.

Conservatives blocking sites is like burning books. A device used for when the information cannot be digested and intelligently either confirmed or refuted.

I listen to con-talk-radio and watch Faux News now and then to see what the crazies are up to. The 90% misinformation is easily filtered out and discarded for anyone with any intelligence. The consumers of those media outlets have no such filters. They in fact tune in to have their phoney view of the world confirmed so they feel good. And they need this crack cocaine daily.

Almost 80% of the public identifies as Christian, but Faux News runs a never ending phoney strand of 'a war on Christianity' and 'a war on Christmas'. It is absolutely false but they scour the globe to find one or two tiny instances of someone using red cups at Christmas rather than red cups with Christmas trees on them and they turn it into an invasion from planet Klolob that is going to wipe out the human race. Fake stories, fake news, fake people.

But it makes kristians feel good to be persecuted and huddle together 'against the great hurricane' that doesn't exist.

It is propaganda that is used to keep the sheep braying for more.
