Here's a mock dialogue about friendship between Shiva (Hindu god of destruction) and Kali (Hindu goddess of rage).

These two Eastern religion avatars signify a human appreciation of gender-intrigue, so I thought it would be prudent to toss up a Shiva-Kali *exchange*, especially since we just saw the first female contender for the office of U.S. Presidency (Hillary Clinton).

SHIVA: Sometimes I get the impression you're dissatisfied with me.
KALI: I despise the male arrogance about female dissatisfaction!
SHIVA: Nothing is perfect, but I assume you respect my intentions to be respectful.
KALI: Courtesy is possible, but charm is not easy.
SHIVA: I will bank on courtesy.
KALI: Alright. Do you think you're courteous towards women?
SHIVA: Well, I'm sure you could *charm* me into thinking I have good intentions.
KALI: I could deceive you easily, since men are sensitive about free will.
SHIVA: What if I told you I was suspicious you were engaged in an adulterous affair with Vishnu?
KALI: Why not Karthik/Kartikeya?
SHIVA: I don't want to sound accusatory, but what I am implying is that women are sensitive about honor.
KALI: Do you think I am offended by the accusation that I am unfaithful?
SHIVA: No. I think you want me to *think* you are very faithful, but I wonder why.
KALI: I want you to admire me.
SHIVA: Do you need me to admire you?
KALI: Who doesn't? You're the 'god of destruction.'
SHIVA: That's clever. I do not despise anyone.
KALI: Do you love me?
SHIVA: As much as I can.
KALI: What would turn you away from me?
SHIVA: Complete dishonesty.
KALI: I treat you the way you want to be treated.
SHIVA: That is what I believe.
KALI: Then your faith is justified by our mutual respect.
SHIVA: Would you call me vain if I wanted all of your attention?
KALI: I would think you vain if you felt you *deserved* all my attention.
SHIVA: So you believe your time is precious?
KALI: Of course!
SHIVA: Then you would never *waste* time with me (e.g., betrayal, dishonesty, etc.).
KALI: You're correct, but only because I love you (not because I should fear you!).
