It's one of many reasons I voted for Trump. The very fate of this nation heavily depends upon who will be appointed to SCOTUS in the next few years. With the possibility of three, filling those with more like Bader-Ginsberg, Sotomayor, and Kagan would be the death knell of the country we know.

I don't think you need to worry about liberal supreme court judges, at least for the next 4 years. Filling the current seat will return the court to 5/4 conservative/liberal makeup.

With the exception of Thomas and Ginsburg, none of the other judges have been consist in pleasing the president that appointed them. Packing the court with judges that will consistently render partisan decisions is not that easy. Judges are judged by their peers based on their impartiality and fairness of their rulings. No judge want's to go down in history as a tool for either party.

I wouldn't count on Ginsburg retiring while Trump is president. She's a pretty tough old bird. I'd say she is more likely to die than retire and have Trump replace her. Kennedy is the swing voter and one of the most impartial judges. Age wise he is the next oldest.

Anyways as to the military, if it turns out Trump wasn't just blatantly lying about his stances and he actually believes in them, the military may be the worst to suffer. It'll take at least a couple of years of Trump's policies destroying America's fabric before outright war is decided as the only possible solution. We'll just have to wait and see how the chips fall then. Anyways, all of the money is in the blue states, just like it was during the last civil war that the north won. So that bodes well for the nation.

It'll take at least a couple of years of Trump's policies destroying America's fabric before outright war is decided as the only possible solution. We'll just have to wait and see how the chips fall then. Anyways, all of the money is in the blue states, just like it was during the last civil war that the north won. So that bodes well for the nation.
