The electoral college does not reflect the popular vote. So it's true that more presidential electors wanted Trump and his agenda, but more american voters wanted Clinton and her ideas.

Noooooooo. Romney thought Russia posed a military threat. Which they don't. He wanted to spend more money on planes that can't fly in the rain, ships that can't float on the water, and tanks no one wants or needs.

The Russia 'reset' was also before Putin invaded Ukraine. Obama and Clinton did manage to get sanctions placed on Russia, which is why Russia enlisted the GOP....they wanted those sanctions removed. Which is what they discussed with Flynn and Manafort, as well as most likely Sessions, DeVos, Zinke, Ross, and Mnuchin. I think the only person in Trump's entire cabinet who didn't have Russia ties was Ben Carson.
