The Truth Is: Donald Trump Did Pretty Good In Last Night's Debate (And I Can't Stand Him)

Donald Trump's performance at the Commander in Chief Forum:

  • I reluctantly admit was better than I hoped it would be.

  • Was good and I'm glad!

  • Wasn't as good as the OP says.

  • Failed horribly!

  • Not sure.

^^ The issue would be no better under Trump. He's cutting off paying even his closest helpers in DC. What makes you think he'll not shave the pay from the ranks of his computer geek army? He'll figure out a way to cheap the labor as he always has (the reason for any of his financial success actually). And you don't get the best and brightest for the least amount of pay..

The things you have against Trump are the things that people who want to see America great again are going to vote for.
My banker is the biggest son of a bitch asshole you would ever meet.
But he doesn't let a fucking dime out of his sight!
I trust him with my money.
We need a son of a bitch hard nosed businessman President NOW!
BONOBO and his socialist wet dream has almost destroyed America!

Again, penny pinching when it comes to your cyber army is not going to serve "Making America Great Again". So Donald's tight ass when it comes to pay isn't going to benefit our country. Remember that was my point? No, of course you don't.

You go ahead and vote for Hillary.
After all she has promised to keep Obama's economic policies just as they are.
Maybe she'll add a few dozen trillion to the national debt in her first for years.
All the money Obama pissed away SURE has helped the economy hasn't it?
Fucking Socialist Wet Dreamers!
Trump will spend the hard earned 'MAKERS' tax dollars on programs that actually work.

Ya fucking RIGHT!

I'm not really eager to vote for her; but if she does Universal Healthcare alone, she'll do more for our economy than the last two Administrations combined.

Donald Trump (D-NY) takes on the tough questions.

HOST: What's your favorite color?

TRUMP: I like gold. It's a great color. The best color there is, and the best money, too. By the way, my name and gold are synonymous. Because we are both the most trustworthy thing there is, bleev me.

RUBE: Trump just kicked ass!

Agreed. But how do you think it will change the Hillary strategy? They were counting on him screwing up in the debates...
Who knows. Hillary's problem is Hillary. How do you fix that in seven weeks?

There has never been a presidential election like this, in which both candidates are so freakin' lucky to have each other as opponents.

She has her electoral college advantage, and she just has to hope that Assange or someone else can't sink her.
.
You can be 100% guaranteed that Assange will drop a fucking MOAB on Hillary a couple of weeks before the election.
Assange HATES!!!!! Hillary with a fucking burning passion!
He is saving the very best for last.
He's going to make 100% positive the MSM Hillary ass lickers can't hide the MOAB from the public.
I wonder how you would be reacting if someone were doing this to Trump.
.
I believe Trump having been in a very serious world of business dealing with the most conniving ruthless asshole businessmen in the world has done some 'shady' things.
No one at that level survives if they can't get in the ring with those bastards.
Trump knows where a lot of skeletons are hidden.
That's a major reason the 'establishment' on both sides are shit scared of him.
If anyone has a MOAB they can drop on Trump I say DROP IT!.
On the other hand Hillary has been a player in Washington for decades.
No one can say with a straight face she doesn't know what a document means. Whether it's got a fucking 'C' on it or not.
Either that or she really is too stupid to have the 'codes'.
Partisan politics aside, how comfortable are you with the knowledge that people from other countries (including a clear and dangerous adversary) now appear to be distorting an American presidential election?
.

Mac, question----------> If someone knocked on your door, and told you there was a plot to kill your wife or child, would you care if the informer was a thug, a communist, a socialist, or a Nazi if it turned out to be true and saved your immediate family members life?

As far as them interfering with the election in some way; wasn't that door opened when Obama and the Democrats spent millions on trying to get Netenyahu to lose in Israel? Or how about them campaigning to stop Brexit in the UK? The left has no leg to stand on for this one.

As with most issues, this isn't a Republican vs. Democrat, conservative vs. liberal thing for me.

It's scary enough to imagine that, one day, a foreign interest might be able to put on thumb on the scale in our electoral process. But now it appears to be actually happening, and one of those interests might very well be one of our primary strategic adversaries.

So I'm not sure what you're saying. Is it that, because the Democrats did what you said, this is all okay?

No Mac. I am not suggesting another country's opinion of our election is ok, in fact, any financial interference from outside the country should be prosecuted. But I will, like you take off my partisan hat for a minute, and show you not why it is acceptable, but why it is the fault of the antagonists in the Presidential election.

1. Did Iran interfere in our election? Yes they did! How/why? By telling the truth, and verifying what some in the media already knew........that the deal sucked, and that a ransom was paid for the hostages. The end result happened as it did, not because Iran was trying to affect the election, but rather because our government LIED to us, their supposed employers. In essence, the administration AFFECTED the election by trying to pull a fast one, not the Iranians for pointing out in a round about way, they were as full of crap as a Thanksgiving turkey.

2. Someone hacked the DNC! Outcome? Showing that the DNC was trying to screw Bernie! Who did it? Lots off innuendo that it was the Russians, but no actual proof. And so I ask, what if it was the Mossaud, or rather, what if they had a hand in it behind the scenes? Did not Obama and the DNC ILLEGALLY work in Israel for the defeat of Netenyahu, spending millions? Does that make it better, worse, or fair? I always ask myself, "who has an ax to grind, and who/whom has the most to gain." "Remove all propaganda, and no matter how impossible it might seem, usually the most logical choice is the correct choice." Now then, knowing that for this administration to accuse Israel and show proof, would open Pandora's box for Israel to easily show how Obama and the DNC attempted to oust a foreign leader, and a supposed ally to boot......a fact which many Americans are unaware of I am sure, would force them to point the finger at a different boogeyman, now wouldn't it, enter Russia. Tin foil? Maybe, but I contend just the fact that Trump wants to open ALL areas of energy in the US would cause severe financial problems for Russia. Putin may be a tyrant, but he is no fool. So, some of the last places I would ever look to push for Trump to be President is Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Iran. Brings me back to Israel. See my point!

3. Not that I think any outside influence should affect our elections, but it is a head scratching moment for many that some people decry the fact that outsiders are attempting to shape public opinion, while at the same time, the DNC attempts to remove safeguards that only Americans are voting by fighting to stop the sanctity of voter roles; but that is a topic for another thread.

4. Our adversaries, and friends for that matter across the world; have a vested interest in who is elected President of the United States. It is deplorable that they, or we, would physically interject themselves/ourselves into an election that is not our/their own. Since I can not point at for sure who started this troubling trend, I can point at our own government on at least 2 recent occasions injecting themselves into other sovereign country's votes. To think that with them doing that other sovereign nations would not follow suit, is ridiculous. We may not like it as Americans, but what should we have expected! Forget Hillary and Trump for a moment and consider------------>with hackers discovering things about some of our politicians that are in office at any capacity, how hard would it be for them to be blackmailed if a deep-dark secret was discovered? I agree you should be concerned about information being released from hacks, but to be honest, I am MORE concerned about information being discovered that is NOT released, as that will be the method for outsiders to get our politicians to do their bidding instead of ours.

5. I like you Mac am concerned. But if you deep dive into the real implications of what could happen with the knowledge they may be coming up with on a personal basis, it is down right scary.

With that, I wish you a good weekend!

Look, people know me here for my stark (and some say "offensive" ) honesty. And everyone knows my position on Donald Trump getting within 100 miles of the Oval Office.

That being said, he did very well in last night's debate. You're hearing a few nitpicking threads but really, he aced it. And that has to be a campaign "uh-oh" moment for the Hillary camp. Trump is pulling ahead in the polls and he aced last night's commander in chief forum. Worse still, Hillary's "can you trust him when the phone rings at 3am" ads just got sucker punched in the face because he came out looking more calm and having self-control than he ever has before.

So....? I guess this means more work for the Hillary camp. Well done Donald. I still think you should be legally restrained from coming within 100 miles of the Whitehouse.
From what I've seen, he definitely did better than he might have.

Seems to me that the addition of Kellyanne Conway was a real turning point, he's kept his shit together comparatively well and his talking points have improved quite a bit.

I don't want him to win, but it's good to know he can take positive instruction just in case.
.

I agree that it was obvious that Trump had put in the effort to prepare. However, I disagree with your analysis that it shows he can "take positive instruction." I think it's a simple matter of "how can I better manipulate these people to give me the power and attention that I want?"

Oh yeah, I don't disagree with that.

He is a salesman, and he's going to use whatever sales tactics he feels will work. His biggest problem has been his lack of discipline. He can get away with that in the vacuum of commercial real estate by simply mauling people with the force of his personality, but not on this stage.

And his newfound discipline can pretty much run right off the rails at any given time.
