Tunnel vision – That’s how liberals “perceive” America. From inside the tunnel of liberal media, liberal (mis)education, and liberal politicians, they don’t see the real world outside that tunnel.
It’s like being in that tunnel from birth, and not believing anyone who is outside the tunnel is daylight, green grass, trees, flowers, streams, waterfalls, etc. That’s if they even get a chance to hear what the people outside the tunnel have to say.
In this case, the people outside the tunnel are FOX News Channel, conservative talk radio shows, conservative politicians, and authors, etc. Only problem is , they’re all outside the tunnel, and liberals aren’t permitted to go there. They get firm instructions to stay away.
Instead, they’re programmed to see certain things as being good for them. Like illegal aliens, who steal millions of jobs from them, bring foreign diseases, increase pressure on scarce resources, and raid their (US) economy for $133 Billion/year. And Muslim immigrants, whose 1400 year old doctrine (the Koran) is to kill them, beat their wives, have slaves, and marry 9 year old girls. And they’re told to racially discriminate against whites (affirmative action), and males, all while being instructed to preach against race & sex discrimination.
And they’re also taught to dislike police and fear guns (having no military training), and to support the practice of being unarmed, sitting ducks for terrorists and other criminals.
Must be awfully chilly in the tunnel. I’m glad I’M not stuck in it.
