Most of the planet is an open sewer.

It's our job to keep ourselves from falling in, in a manner according to our own best judgement, not someone else's.
So whose sewer smells best is a question- shouldn't people worry about their own backyard before trying to force someone else to clean their own?

Go shit in a hole. Just don't do it in the good ol' USA, unless you wanna reside in California. There, a sidewalk will do, just fine.

There is no reason for the Pentagon to be depressed, despondent, or angry over the fact that Iraqi officials are kicking the Pentagon out of Iraq. The Pentagon doesn’t belong in Iraq in the first place.

First, it’s important to keep in mind that ever since the Pentagon and the rest of the U.S. national-security establishment lost their official Cold War enemy, the Soviet Union, with the end of the Cold War in 1989, Iraq never invaded the United States or even threatened to do so. In the 30 years that the Pentagon has been killing people and wreaking destruction in Iraq, it has always been the Pentagon that has been the aggressor and Iraq the defender.

Yes, our moral history sanctions the job- smh- amazing - there's no excuse for not seeing history as the path we're on-

Yes, it’s a complicated region. And America, sad to say, still doesn’t know Shia from Shinola.

"Qassim Soleimani, an Iranian major general, was assassinated by a U.S. drone air strike, at the Baghdad International Airport (BIAP). Soleimani was traveling with one Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, who was an Iraqi, born and bred.

"Al-Muhandis was even elected to the Iraqi Parliament, in 2005, until the U.S. intervened. (Yes, we intervene in other nations’ elections.)"

I wonder if some of the partisan confusion over Soleimani's murder stems from a fundamental misunderstand of US economic motives in the Middle East?

"Why would killing Suleimani help remove the U.S. presence?

"He was the leader of the fight against ISIS, especially in Syria.

"US policy was to continue using ISIS to permanently destabilize Syria and Iraq so as to prevent a Shi’ite crescent reaching from Iran to Lebanon – which incidentally would serve as part of China’s Belt and Road initiative.

"So it killed Suleimani to prevent the peace negotiation."

Perhaps it was a swamp thing.

We ended the cold war without nuking anyone.
That was started by Allen Dulles (head of the CIA) on false pretense- with ww2 out of the way, and Korea *taken care of* the US needed a new boogey man to feed the MIC which Ike warned us about in his farewell address. The ironic thing is, Ike appointed Dulles head of the CIA-

You’re beyond hopelessly partisan and paranoid.
