Politicians and political pundits OFTEN take the most outrageous acts or statements of an extreme individual, then paint the whole movement with that act or statement. This is not a "lie," per se, it is an exaggeration, and rational people understand it as such.

On abortion, the unofficial Leftist position is that abortion should be an option up to and including the moment of live birth. A candidate for Governor in Virginia (I don't recall his name) implied that a decision on "abortion" could even be made immediately after delivery of the fetus/baby. That extreme position has been fodder for a lot of RW speakers to characterize the Leftist position on abortion. Under Roe v Wade's guidance, abortion was not an option once the baby had arguably reached the point of "viability" (able to survive outside the womb). For our Leftist leaders, this is an extreme position, and their claims to want to go back to "Roe v Wade are lies.

Only two (2) people on earth know whether Trump screwed the porn star. One of them who claims he did is a known liar, and the other one is believed by many to be a liar. Take your pick.
