The WEIRD political hypocrisy of this board.

Proving once again that Democrats are willing to work with Republicans for the good of the country.

Republicans are willing to let people suffer if it will hurt Democrats

You just can't admit that W. handled TARP far better than Barry did...can ya'?
Bush handled TARP for, like, 10 minutes.

Oh, bullshit! Bush went to bat for TARP at great political cost to himself because he believed it was needed to keep some of the countries largest financial institutions from going belly up. That was how Bush used TARP monies. Obama on the other hand used TARP funds to reward his supporters in the UAW and the green energy sector.
Bush passed TARP in Oct 2008 as his presidency was winding down
Amazing how Republicans and Democrats got together to approve TARP for the good of the country.
Four months later, when Obama requested additional TARP funds, not a single Republican voted for it.....citing concerns about the deficit

It wasn't the deficit that they had "concerns" over, Winger...it was Timothy Geithner's lack of details of how the additional TARP funds would be used that had Congress balking at voting for it.

It was quite clear who was getting the money. They did not have “concerns” when Bush asked

Republicans wanted he economy to fail

They didn't have "concerns" when Bush asked because it was made quite clear how the money was going to be used. They DID have concerns when Geithner asked because of the total lack of specifics. Quite frankly...the GOP were afraid that given a whole bunch of money to play with...the Obama Administration would use that money to reward it's supporters.

The U.S. has not been governed properly in decades, at least.
If anything is needed, it is much greater participation by intelligent, thinking and thoughtful citizens.

Of course they only have concerns when Democrats want to spend money

Only time they care about austerity

I gotta give you that one.

Since the Democrats DID use stimulus money to rewards it's supporters like the UAW and contributors from the green energy industry like Solyndra...it would seem those concerns were warranted!

Under Obama everyone on the right loved Bush and the left hated him. Now Bush is hated by the right and admired by the left.
When McCain/Romney ran against Obama they were supported by the right and despised by the left. Now those roles too have reversed.

I think it is a flawed personal trait when you don't have the courage to stick to your so called principles regardless of someone elses health condition. It's hard to take a lot of you serious.
------------------------------'bush familia' has been bad since the 'reagan - bush' amnesty .
