I made my morning cup of coffee and went out on the patio about 0630.
I was watching the wildlife when all of a sudden an old doe comes tearing by.
Then a couple of rabbits did the same.....Then the squirrels start barking.
A couple seconds later a really nice black bear comes walking by. I figure it went around 475-500#. It had a really nice black and shiney coat.
I just sitting there with my two cats that I had let out and it saunders on by at about 20' away and didn't pay us any mind at all.
Sigh, it's why I can't keep bird feeders out overnight. I bet I've had a baker's dozen torn-up over my years here.
