This Bud was for you.

Budweiser failed miserably with their political ploy to partner with Dylan Mulvaney, costing them $5 Billion. After a disaster of an attempt to apologize, they've come out with a new ad. Featuring its iconic Clydesdale horses, the ad has been ripped by critics who argue it reeks of desperation in the wake of the Bud Light controversy — insisting it’s too little, too late for the beer maker.

Budweiser’s new patriotic ad ripped by critics as ‘pandering’ after Bud Light saga

Using a real horse to take attention from the horse face harvard exec in her ivory tower?

Dont make me laugh

They should have stuck with the classics and sold them in limited venues

If you told them it was going to cost them $5 billion and create a brand damaging backlash, I'm pretty sure this ad campaign never would have been approved.

Is there a bigger one than costing yourself 8-10 billion in less than a week? New Coke is maybe close but it wasn’t that fast.

How much of the 8 to 10 billion have the gotten back already?

When this all started their stock dropped 4.7%, it is not back up 3.5 percentage points and only down 1.1% from when all this started.

As with most of these things, the boycott was just a fart in the wind....it smelled bad for a second and now things are pretty much back to normal.

What rock are you hiding under? The sales figures coming up are going to be brutal. Nobody has let up on them that’s a hope you may have but it’s not happening. Stores are still stocked with beer from two weeks ago.
