1. I have never heard anyone saying the AR stands for assault rifle. Gun nuts ranting that it does not is just another example of them complaining about an event that just doesn't happen. Similar to their ranting that they won't allow anybody will take all their guns. No credible person or group is trying to take all their guns to start with. Just more silly whining.
2. The video is correct to say most people think of mass shootings as an event like Uvalde. That type of mass shooting is much more horrendous, and is deserving of more discussion than the average shooting. School shootings don't become more palletable, or any less worthy of preventing just because a different type of shooting is put on the same list. The silly claim that anti-gun people are using that as a trick is bullshit.
3. The 223 is nowhere near the same as a 22. A fragment of a 223 does just as much damage as a fragment of an exploding bullet. The bodies of those dead children show proof of that. The coroner said some of the children were decapitated from the fragmentation of the 223 bullets ripping through their tiny bodies. The video claimed it was going to be honest.
