This Presidency Is Over!

Video at link. Chuck Todd reporting on an NBC-Wall Street Journal Poll that stating that 54% says
Last time I checked, the Constitution said it takes more than 54%. Takes a simple majority in the House to make that decision. And then, to actually kick him out, it takes a 2/3 supermajority in the Senate.

Obama no longer has the ability to lead
When did he ever have the ability to lead?

and his poll numbers are worse than Bush post Katrina.
See above figures for House and Senate.

Well, he kept his party in line for his two signature laws. But the problem was, essentially, that while the banks did eventually pay back the bailout, the dems didn't bailout the homeowners, or require the banks to do so as a condition of their bailouts. And secondly, the individual mandate was never popular, and I really doubt a majority supported more money to expand Medicaid.

I think it will be the normal course of things for a President to dive in the polls in the last two or three years of his Administration due to the new era of partisan derangement syndrome.

Could be that or a little thing called "leadership."

Again? So how many times is it now that the ODS crybabies have declared Obama is doomed?

And each time, Obama calmly walks over, kicks their asses and sends them crying back to mama. It's delightful to watch.

About that Wall Street Journal poll: Is the public saying Obama's presidency is over? | WashingtonExaminer.com

Bush's approval rating went into the teens.

Obama's approval ratings for the next months will ride on whatever happens in Iraq.

I believe Bush's approval ratings were 24% at the lowest but I understand your point.

I personally feel Obama will be remembered as one of the worst Presidents in US history, right next to Bush, no matter what polling said. Obama is incompetent on the economy, foreign policy and is possibly the most divisive President we have ever had.

I think this is why Obama isn't properly focused on the crisis in Iraq, and doesn't give a crap what happens on our borders. He knows now he's not universally loved any longer, and he's going to go out not giving a fuck about anything.

Could you imagine his poll numbers if the media actually reported half the scandals this Administration is involved in?

The VA scandal alone could tank him.

I think you'll find similar poll dips for the past 4 potuses.

Nope. Clinton stayed steady, GH Bush had good rating, but H Ross Perot screwed him. Reagan held steady.

It all depends on whether or not the improvement in the economy continues. If it does....he'll go out with a higher approval rating.

Can the GOP prevent that from happening?

We shall see.

The economy has been dying Obama's entire time in office... It's doing great for the military and rich as well as wall street. The middle class shrinks, and there are more poor and less working.

I agree that the media has tried extra hard to make Obama look good. It's been hard but finally the media is shifting as they are loosing viewership.

If it becomes popular to dislike Obama then he's in trubble, but who knows if that will or has happened. It's a popular position to claim Obama sucks but Bush was worse, but that's not a good thing. If it gets popular to claim Obama is just a run on of Bush then it's over, and that feeling has been growing over the last few years.

Reagan dipped to under 50% two years into his second term

Ronald Reagan From the People?s Perspective: A Gallup Poll Review

Slick dropped about 5-10 pts at this pt of his second.

Clinton: Job Ratings

Dubious actually got a little bump up to "only" negative 20s in the latter half of his 7th year, but comparing anyone to him is questionable on the compare contrast thing.

BushtheElder was actually trending down till he got the war bump, only to fall apart so rapidly as the econ sank into recession

I'm not in love with him, however, his numbers were worse than ever back in Sept/October of last year from these same pollsters

Headed in the right direction 14%
off on the wrong track 78%
Mixed 4%
Not sure 4%

I think that was during the ACA/Obamacare sign up with the system not working...?

The MSNBC/WSJ poll from this past week, (6/14) that is referenced:

Headed in the right direction 25%
off on the wrong track 63%
Mixed 7%
Not sure 5%

edit*

And when he took office in 1/09

Headed in the right direction 26%
off on the wrong track 59%
Mixed 9%
Not sure 6%

Pres. Obama could care less if his poll numbers went to zero.

Since he doesn't have to worry about re-election.

He will just do what he wants, to whom ever he wants, to further his socialist agenda.

And if the American people don't like it........Tough. .. :doubt:
