True. And he hates business owners. He fails to realize that without business owners, there would be no jobs - other than those who work for Government. It’s probably what he wants - everyone beholden to The State.

I do think that he wants all employers to be "the Government"

The Government (as we are seeing) has unlimited money to throw around.

Never saw him say that or anything like that.

I HAVE seen you lie constantly

Stop it

You have never read a lie authored by me.

Opinions that are not approved by your echo chamber and lies, are not the same thing.

So all the shit you spew is just your moronic opinion?

Thanks for clearing that up.

He has one point -
always

The workers should be in charge and make all the money
there should be no incentives for investment, or risk taking.

Basically, Communist/Socialist worker's party.
Oddly, that doesn’t sound like opinion.

It sounds like a claim of fact. One you cannot defend

I'm all for paying american workers a good wage. Nowhere have i said they should make all the money. Nowhere in america is $15 per hour a wage that allows one to work, save, or have a family. NO WHERE.

I thought people here were in support of Americans doing the overseas jobs.

90% of what you believe to be facts are just opinions (that you agree with)

in fact, there are very few facts in the world

That last is an insane statement

Fired U.S. pardon attorney complains of intimidation tactics ahead of testimony in 'shadow hearing'

WASHINGTON — A lawyer representing the former U.S. pardon attorney complained in a letter to the Justice Department that it was using "security resources to intimidate" Liz Oyer ahead of her planned participation in a "shadow" hearing held Monday by congressional Democrats.

The letter said the Justice Department dispatched special deputy U.S. marshals to the home of Oyer, who said she was fired after she opposed adding actor Mel Gibson to a list of people having their gun rights restored. (A Justice Department official disputed that the Gibson case drove her dismissal.) The special deputy U.S. marshals had been told to deliver a letter warning Oyer to obey her obligation not to reveal information protected by executive privilege at the event Monday. Ultimately, they did not deliver the letter, after Oyer confirmed receipt of the message to a secondary email.

In a nutshell, Oyer voiced her objection to trump fan Mel Gibson having his gun rights restored. Not only was she fired, the regime tried to prevent her congressional testimony (watch the YouTube video and you'll see why) by way of intimidation. They failed. But only due to Oyer's courage.

This thread will be forgotten by trump supporters within days if not hours. (trump fans insert snark here) Not only because a story like this encapsulates so many things that are wrong about how it is destroying America's most vital institutions, but because there are so many stories like it.

Justice Dept. Lawyers Are Struggling to Defend Trump’s Policies in Court

The Trump administration’s aggressive efforts to enact major elements of its agenda have led to a series of courtroom clashes between increasingly skeptical judges and the beleaguered lawyers responsible for defending the government’s positions, which some have come to see as indefensible.

The Justice Department’s thinned-out civil division has borne the brunt of the growing conflict. Inside the division, the strains of pushing the legal limits on topics as varied as mass deportations, spending power and punishing law firms are taking a major toll. Government litigators, their ranks increasingly depleted, often find themselves in court with few facts to defend policies they cannot explain, according to current and former officials.

Career lawyers representing the government have a long tradition of arguing for the goals of Republican or Democratic administrations, regardless of their personal views. What is different now, they say, is that they increasingly feel trapped between President Trump’s partisan political appointees, who insist on a maximalist approach, and judges who demand comprehensible answers to basic questions.
The most vivid example of this squeeze came on Saturday when one of the department’s senior immigration lawyers, Erez Reuveni, was suspended indefinitely after speaking candidly about the administration’s mistaken deportation of a Maryland man to a notorious megaprison in El Salvador.

A senior Justice Department immigration lawyer was put on indefinite leave Saturday after questioning the Trump administration’s decision to deport a Maryland man to El Salvador — one day after representing the government in court.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche suspended Erez Reuveni, the acting deputy director of the department’s immigration litigation division, for failing to “follow a directive from your superiors,” according to a letter sent to Mr. Reuveni and obtained by The New York Times.

Mr. Reuveni — who was praised as a “top-notched” prosecutor by his superiors in an email announcing his promotion two weeks ago — is the latest career official to be suspended, demoted, transferred or fired for refusing to comply with a directive from President Trump’s appointees to take actions they deem improper or unethical.

Personally, I don't have any sympathy for a lawyer who voluntarily went to work for the regime since they knew, or should have known, what they were getting involved in. Putting put in a position to violate their oath as an attorney by doing what they are told by people like Todd Blanche was inevitable. Their client, the government, is corrupt. Duh.

I'm sure to lose sleep that this Biden stooge was fired.

Trump supporters are as much enemies of the rule of law as Trump.

Fired DOJ Pardon Attorney: Office Was Never Consulted On Trump’s Jan 6 Pardons

During a “shadow hearing” before congressional Democrats Monday evening, former U.S. pardon attorney Liz Oyer — who was fired last month in retaliation for her refusal to comply with a Trump-backed order to restore Mel Gibson’s gun rights — testified that her office was never consulted on Trump’s sweeping January 6 pardons.

Monday’s hearing, led by Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), was called in part to gather testimony on the extent to which the Department of Justice is being used to carry out Donald Trump’s retribution agenda.

On Monday, Schiff asked Oyer directly if her office was ever “consulted” on the 1,500-plus pardons Trump dolled out to those convicted as part of their role in the January 6th attack on the Capitol.

“I learned about those pardons on the news just like every other American,” Oyer responded.

“It should alarm all Americans that the leadership of the Department of Justice appears to value political loyalty above the fair and responsible administration of justice,” Oyer added during Monday’s hearing.

It alarms Americans who are not part of trump's cult.

Trumpers will stupidly claim that the Biden Admin politicized the DOJ.

Nothing could be further from the truth

Biden appointed Garland to head the DOJ and did not replace him even though he slow walked the investigation of Trump regarding election hijinks in 2020.

Had the DOJ been political you can bet that investigation and trial would have been completed well before the 2024 election

Two of the most leftist congresspeople, who hate Trump with a passion, are taking on an examination of what they term his “retribution agenda”?

Oh, this will be good…..

Disparaging Schiff and Raskin is nothing more than a way to deflect from the essence of the story. Pardons are supposed to be reviewed for approval by the pardon office. trump circumvented the office in order to pardon violent criminals who were part of his Jan. 6 mob.
This is just another way trump has violated protocols in order to do something outrageously unethical and dangerous.
