Zone1 Thomas Sowell: "Systemic Racism has no meaning".

Lisa,

Stop crying. Because there is 246 years of white racism we can discuss and you know full well all about it. There is no overt racism against whites and there is no favoritism to any non white group. What you call favoritism is the attempt to fix the damage caused by white racism. What you call racism against whites is called equal opportunity. Whites are not 100 percent of the population, at last check non hispanic pure white people were 64 percent of the population, but they are 80 percent of the managers in places like McDonalds and over 70 percent of all workers. None of that shows abject racism against whites.

There has been only one double standard rregarding race and that has been in favor of whiytes. This is why a white racist can bring a case that was rejected by a lowe court to the supreme court that on the merits should be thrown out.
Blah, blah, blah….YOU stop crying. You didn’t experience the 246 years of racism, and I’m sure you were never denied service at McDonalds because you were black.

The fact that a non-white employee felt justified in ignoring a white customer while serving non-whites shows how far the anti-white racism has gone.

It might not be coming because the case in question shows that Asians are the largest minority group and whites have been getting in on preference other races were not getting. Now understand that if you get what you want, women will also be denied.
Asians are the largest minority group on campus because they, as a group, are the most qualified.

And I’m fine with women having to qualify based on their own merits. I got in at every school I applied to due to my high school record.

Thomas Sowell dismantles "Systemic Racism" during this telling and important interview.

So how about you argue in your own words why "systemic racism" has no meaning?

See you in never

Funny how you make this claim while whites have the majority of jobs, own the majority of all property and have at least 17 times the wealth of everybody else.
Someone will always be at the top of the hill. Whining won't get you there. Get to work.

You got one and nobody has to prove anything else to you. Sowell not only has internalized racism, but he suffers from psychosis. But as long as he says what you need to hear, you hang on.
There is no reason to believe that.

Yet it is fair to question Sowell's motives. "Systemic racism" is an objective measure. It's a measure of outcomes that are assumed to be independent of any active, intentional racism on the part of any person or policy (which seems to elude Sowell and a lot of people who si.pky have no odea wha the phrase means). The biased results of an imperfect algorithm. It's simply an objective measurement.

No, it is an attempt to dismiss another person's opinions when that person credibly presents opinions with which one disagrees. It is an attempt to focus on some perceived weakness of the person so as to excuse ignoring what they presented.

An example would be for a white person to dismiss everything Malcom X ever said because he thought Obama was the Messiah.

Sowell is black and Malcolm X never saw Obama. Sowell argues against a reality he has seen and experienced himself.

Okay, let's put it this way. Should a black person reject everything Malcom X had to say because he thought Obama was the Messiah?

Systemic racism is the fashionable alibi for black failure when there is no evidence of racial discrimination.
