That Wednesday, after traveling with Trump on Air Force One for an infrastructure event in Cincinnati, Pruitt and several staffers raced to New York on a military jet, at a cost of $36,068.50, to catch a plane to Rome.

Trump has been part of the swamp for 40 years, why anyone thought he was going to drain it is beyond me.

The rest of the story...Pruitt is being asked to do a LOT more travel than his predecessors, so much that if you are going to ask someone at that level to do that much travel then some first class travel is to be expected. Second the inspector general said that that Pruitt has gotten a higher number of threats than his predecessors so he has to keep his travel plans secret which is what is really pissing off the press. TBD of the security threats are also part of the first class travel. That said the optics of this are horrible and should be looked into by the Trump administration.

I guess that sitting in a seat with hot towels and more leg room makes him safer..
