Last February 21 the DC Circuit Court of Appeals set aside Perry Capital LLC v. Mnuchin (previously Perry Capital v. Lew (former administration)). The Government's position was up held and Perry Capital lost. Now Mnuchin is claiming the Government was guilty of wrongdoing being the Secretary of the Treasury representing the Department that won that case? What the Hell does Mnuchin think he's doing?

Or perhaps Mnuchin had/has stock in Freddie and/or Fannie and wants the interest back that he lost and going along with his Wall St. buddies. What ever his reasoning to go against and REVERSE the Treasury Dept's position now that the case has been adjudicated is grounds to request his resignation. What are the chances of the Orange One doing that?

The decision could be reversed IF the DC Circuit Court decided to hear the case en banc or if SCOTUS grants Certiorari, both of which have a very low probability. In any case Mnuchin made an obvious political move for the current administration, which is unconscionable in for ANYONE his position.
