Gowdy understands that oversight committees cannot subpoena material in on going DOJ and FBI investigations: not how it works.

Sessions, Rosenstein, Mueller, Comey, Gowdy, Napolitano, McConnell, Graham, Flake, Kasich, Rubio, McCain, Ryan, and other leading GOP leaders telling the Alt Right to "step back, let the process run its course."

and lastly, thru logic...logistics of how it would all work if it were "someone" in control of this so called Deep State, and sorry ....it is infeasible....fo all of these so called deep staters all coordinating together for some greater goal of harming their own country and those not a part of "it" would not see it or fight it.... it's simply ridiculous.

Civilian Federal government employees are accountable to no one but a government bureaucracy. And career politicians provide funding for those bureaucracies.
And they need a controllable voter base to continue... And progressives are their drones.

Government employees are American citizens who want the country to prosper. They aren’t part of some secret cabal trying to take over the world.

It’s been well over a century since the civilian federal government actually worked “for” the people. Woodrow Wilson and Theodore Roosevelt planted that seed.
No doubt, the greatest threat this country faces is the civilian federal government/deep state...
That is why the civilian federal government is large, only a very large government can control citizens its disagrees with.
They control in several different ways, the most effective is through socialism/communism/progressivism and socialist entitlement programs. They use dependency as a way to guarantee generations of generational votes.
