Watched it twice in its entirety.

First was in 1971 when my HS history teacher showed it to class against our will.

2nd time was in Univ of Washington lecture hall when I went to see it out of curisity in 1977.

At the end - stunned utter silence............................................................................

It was the first successful political ad ever put on film.

To understand modern advertising, one must understand "Triumph of the Will".

Understanding the monstrocity of Hitler is separate from noticing that his ability to surround himself with genius level experts in all of the areas of his Reich was nearly pitch perfect.

That Riefenstahl (sp?) is still studied today speaks volumes on the quality of her efforts.

Would a woman have been given that level of authority in the USA in the 30's?
