There are a lot of republicans who would have been just fine if Trump had managed to overturn the election. That fact makes them unfit to participate.The congressional hearings to which you refer to are just a political show trial, Tommy.

I wouldn’t call this opposition all that loyal. They did try to destroy the basis of our democratic system.Doesn't sound very American for the Democrats to investigate the Loyal Opposition that they are going to have to face when then run for reelection in 2024.
BTW, this kind of kangaroo hearings can damage any chance of a fair trial for those facing trumped up charges.
