Pretty sure this non-event will be just for the magats but they're mostly the working poor or dead poor. They can't afford the cost of a trip to DC. I've made that trip twice, stayed a week each time. Its expensive.

DC has a huge July 4th celebration with parades, concerts, and a massive fireworks display. Mall gets packed from the Lincoln Memorial to the Capitol.
