The abject ARROGANCE of Trump is simply amazing......Here, a republican, Gillespie, loses by nine points, and rather than simply stating, "you fought a good race, Gillespie," Trump reverts to his usual, nauseating and obnoxious, self-aggrandizing.

Sure, orange clown, republicans losing last night was the "fault" of NOT having enough loyalty toward your moronic bullying, derision and division.

Wake up republicans........or simply join the Trump CULT Party and see how THAT turns out in 2018.

Gillespie did embrace the Trump agenda.

BTW, remember not long ago, when the statues/monuments issue was a hot topic around here?

Remember how we were told that issue was going to spell doom for Democrats?

Guess what? By 2 to 1, Virginians DISAGREED with Northam on the issue...

...and he still won by 9 points, aka, a genuine landslide.

By 'embracing' Trumps' agenda, Gillespie made a fatal mistake...

...he started pandering to the people who were going to vote for him anyway.

Virginia is a typical red/blue state

The blue areas have most of the population in the DC area, Richmond and Norfolk
The red areas fill everything in between

Nothing Trump does helps Republicans in those blue areas

.......and, I believe, Gillespie also lost within heavily military districts in VA....

Trump only takes credit for victories. Defeats are always someone else's fault. Narcissism personified!

......and, beside Trump's obvious narcissism, a hefty dose of his immaturity.
