Rasmussen had him at 53%, 6 days ago.I did notice it was an 2018 article, but I wasn't sure if Trump's actions since then would have increased or decreased his approval ratings?

Rasmussen Poll: Donald Trump Approval Rating Jumps to 53 Percent; Highest in Five Months – True Pundit
"The latest poll reflects the highest approval rating for the president in five months, as the last time Trump got a 53 percent approval rating was in April 2019.
"Forty-five percent of likely voters disapproved of his performance as president.
"The president’s approval rating dipped as low as 44 percent in late August but has steadily risen in September — a nine-point jump in 35 days"
Rasmussen...likely Republican voters?
I just love the way these people characterize the poll...It says 45% disapprove, however, any individual with a brain knows that means that 55% approve.....But, can't write that right? NOOOOOO!Perhaps some troops had no opinion on the matter?I just love the way these people characterize the poll...It says 45% disapprove, however, any individual with a brain knows that means that 55% approve.....But, can't write that right? "About 44 percent of troops had a favorable view of Trump’s presidency, the poll showed, compared to 43 percent who disapproved.
"The results from the survey, conducted over the course of September and October, suggest a gradual decline in troops’ support of Trump since he was elected in fall 2016, when a similar Military Times poll showed that 46 percent of troops approved of Trump compared to 37 percent who disapproved.
"That nine-point margin of support now appears gone."
Support for Trump is fading among active-duty troops, new poll shows
From your own article:
"Troops surveyed continue to give high marks to the president for his handling of military issues specifically. More than 60 percent said they believe the military is in better shape now than it was under President Barack Obama, and nearly the same number have a favorable view of his handling of the military."
What about recruitment?"Troops surveyed continue to give high marks to the president for his handling of military issues specifically. It’s Not the Economy: Why the Army Missed its Recruitment Goals and What to Do About It - Modern War Institute
"In 2018 the US Army failed to meet its recruitment goals for the first time since the height of the Iraq war in 2005. Military leaders have attributed that failure to the strong US job market drawing talent away with the promise of lucrative private sector careers.
"While the health of the economy is a factor, blaming this for recruitment shortcoming is a fundamentally misleading narrative that misses an important opportunity for the Army. Instead of pointing to the continued growth of the economy as the driver of slow recruitment, we would be better served by owning our shortcomings and embracing new and innovative force-multiplying strategies."
