trump thinks his mole, Whitaker failed him

Whitaker has to be careful. Any move to shut down the Mueller investigation or hamper it could put HIM in legal jeopardy. He is an interim DOJ. His only protection against that is Trump . And even THAT is "transactional".

At the very BEST...Trump could only protect him for 6 years. Whitaker is a young man with a long career ahead of him. I'm sure he is considering that

“…the President firmly believes the attorney general of the United States should serve as his personal protector. The episodes also offer a glimpse into the unsettling dynamic of a sitting president talking to his attorney general about investigations he's potentially implicated in.” ibid

Trump is as usual wrong.

I hope he is....in a few days the Dem House is going to call him on the carpet....If he is informing trump or impedeing Mueller....it could be the end of his career...

Its all smoke until Mueller issues his report. Likely to be released late February. So Trump has enough on his plate until then.

He is sweating orange perspiration.....

This is highly inappropriate and unethical behavior by Trump, and it has a simple explanation:

Trump is guilty of crimes and is trying to obstruct the investigation into them.

It's not rocket surgery, people ...

IF Trump is guilty of anything Mueller will publish it. Until then, Trump is innocent until proven guilty.

IF Trump is guilty of anything Mueller will publish it.
Haha, if only it were that simple. Mueller is not a judge or jury. What will probably happen is that he will produce a mountain of evidence, circumstantial and otherwise, that Trump committed crimes. And then his cult will deny any of it is evidence of anything. So where is the "guilt", then?

You gotta be pretty stupid not realize that. He is making Nixon's efforts to obstruct look like child's play. He isn't even trying to conceal his obstruction..

Wait...pretty stupid describesmany of the Trumpettes on here...

As an example, Dershowitz says that the hush money payments are perfectly legal. If someone wants to charge Trump with violating campaign finance law then they can settle it in court, after 2020, or after 2024 if Trump wins in 2020.

The "guilt" goes away unless he'd convicted of something, or the statute of limitations runs out.

A felony for conspiring to defraud voters is just the beginning....he will have multiple felonies and crimes...and many will carry state charges....no pardon.

We'll see what happens won't we? I see words in your post, but no substantiated facts.

Comey said he was not the sharpest knife in the drawer....so Mueller should be able to get his report out without Whit's trump collusion.

It seems trump feels that his word is law...Whitaker...if he indeed wants to stay out of jail...needs to dismiss that notion.

And Trump's recent criticism of the Whit...shows that there is some issues here
